IDENTIFYING ARRA OPPORTUNITIES

There are two primary federal resources that provide organizations with the opportunity to identify funding opportunities.  It should be noted these sites are broader than just ARRA opportunities, but they do include them and searches can be constructed so being related to ARRA is one of the criteria.  The sites are:
http://grants.gov/ -- specifically for grant opportunities
www.fbo.gov/ --  specifically for contract opportunities

When you enter either site you will immediately see the federal ARRA logo on the right hand side of the page and in that section will see a button which will do an immediate search of ARRA specific opportunities within the respective site.  It is important to note both sites also have other “advanced” search capabilities enabling the user to further refine their searches.  For example -- the FedBiz site will enable you to search for all contracts currently posted in and relating to AZ, and likewise the GrantsGov site will enable you to search based on eligibility status.

In both cases these sites provide the user with opportunities currently available.  They do not provide any information about future potential opportunities.  However, these sites do act as a common clearing house for all federal opportunities and in most instances is the only place an agency will post their opportunities.
