Planning, Designing, Funding and Financing Your Building Project

Executive directors, board members and development directors of nonprofit organizations are invited to attend this presentation to learn more about the building process.  A panel of experts will share their knowledge and experience in planning, designing, funding and financing successful building projects for nonprofit organizations.

Panelists include:

  • Amy Gibbons, President and Executive Director & Brad Kuluris, COO and Director of Advancement from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix will discuss how you can make sure your building project directly supports your organization’s strategic business plan.
  • A. David Beringer from the Phoenix architectural firm of BCDM will discuss how an architect can help you fulfill the strategic goals and objectives of your non-profit organization. 
  • Steve Stowe of National Bank of Arizona will discuss basic steps to be more prepared for bank financing of your project.
  • Susan Kauffman, CFRE, and Paul J. Strawhecker, MPA, ACFRE, of Paul J. Strawhecker, Inc. will discuss the process from a fundraising perspective.

 The workshop covers key do's and don'ts about capital projects.
