This forum connects grant seekers from nonprofits with funders to learn about opportunities for partnership.

The Alliance is proud to partner with the Arizona Grantmakers Forum, JUST GRANTS! Arizona, the American Association of Grant Professionals AZ Chapter and The Catholic Community Foundation to connect you to funding partners in our community.

The Valley Grants Forum is held four times each year -- twice in the fall and twice in the spring. For 12 years, this session has been one of the premier opportunities for nonprofits and funders to learn from one another.

Scheduled presenters:

• Joanna de'Shay, Arizona Public Service (APS)--providing assistance to non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in key strategic areas: health and human services,  community development, education, arts and culture, and the environment.
• Terry Gunnell, Corporation for National Community Service--the nation’s largest grantmaker supporting service and volunteering. Through our Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America programs, we provide opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to express their patriotism while addressing critical community needs.
• Julie Coleman, US Airways--US Airways contributes through three channels of giving: Annual Corporate Giving Program, the US Airways Community Foundation and the US Airways Education Foundation. Organizations may apply for funding in all categories should they meet the eligibility requirements.
• Dr. Bev Browning, American Association of Grant Professionals (AAGP), Arizona Chapter--MINI-GRANTWRITING WORKSHOP (Topic:  Responsibilities of Third Party Independent Evaluators)  Grants Forum attendees have been asking for more nuts and bolts information on grant writing, so the Alliance has joined forces with AAGP to bring these resources to our Grants Forums whenever possible.
