Nonprofit Leadership Council

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits has a two-part leadership structure: a Board of Trustees and a Nonprofit Leadership Council. While the Board is responsible for the viability of the organization itself, the Leadership Council is the steward of the work of the Alliance. It is made up of Alliance Members who are committed to supporting, serving, protecting and promoting the entire nonprofit sector in Arizona. An “inaugural” Leadership Council was announced in December 2005, and began service in January 2006. The current members are:

  • Deb Bentlage, Phippen Art Museum (Prescott)
  • Bob Booker, Arizona Commission on the Arts
  • Sam Campana, Audubon Arizona
  • Madeleine Coil, United Way of Yuma County (Yuma)
  • Tricia Drexel, Arizona Federal
  • Michelle Lyons-Mayer, ASU Center for Nonprofit Leadership & Management

The Leadership Council:

  • is 21 to 49 Alliance Members who represent its various constituencies
