UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FROM FIRST NONPROFIT
Members can save thousands of dollars every year

The Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits is excited to announce a partnership that offers you a chance to save substantial money on your state unemployment insurance taxes. 

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, you can elect to opt out of the state system and choose to self-insure and reimburse the state dollar-for-dollar for actual unemployment benefits paid. With this method you are no longer subsidizing the costs of other employers’ layoffs, and you are not paying extra funds you will never receive back. You’ll be able to allocate the funds you save back to your program and other expenses.

While the plan offers the chance for any nonprofit to save on their unemployment taxes, Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits members are offered an additional 20% discount on First Nonprofit Unemployment Saving Program’s one time enrollment fee.

Through a collaboration with the Society for Nonprofit Organizations (SNPO), Nonprofit Members of the Alliance receive SNPO membership benefits, including a subscription to Nonprofit World magazine. This benefit is a $69 value and is included as part of your annual membership dues.

Since 2000, the Arizona Guide to Grants Online, published by JUST GRANTS! Arizona, has been Arizona’s premier local resource for information about corporations and foundations that make contributions in Arizona – no matter where the grantmakers themselves are located. The online searchable database offers detailed, current profiles of nearly 1,900 corporations and foundations with a history of making grants in Arizona.  In the Guide Online, you’ll find contact listings, program descriptions, grant priorities, and all the other details you need to supercharge your grants research.

As a member of the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, you can “Test-Drive the Guide Before You Subscribe!”  A 30-Day Trial subscription is available to Alliance Nonprofit members.
