Open to both Members and Not-Yet-Member organizations, the Annual Member Meeting is our signature event where nonprofit leaders from across Arizona gather to connect and learn. Featured presentations and focused breakout sessions will help Arizona’s nonprofit professionals chart a course for a brighter and more impactful future. New Alliance CEO Kristen Merrifield, CAE, will provide an update on the state of the nonprofit sector in Arizona and the latest news about next year’s Arizona Gives Day. All that, plus networking opportunities, snacks, prizes, and a catered lunch!
How often do you face dilemmas of mission alignment in fundraising? The Girl Scouts have been trending lately with their #forEVERYgirl crowdfunding campaign in response to rejecting a $100,000 gift that wasn't in alignment with their mission. As of this morning, they've raised nearly $330,000 in under 8 days.
On behalf of the Alliance Board of Trustees, we are thrilled to introduce our members to our new CEO: Kristen Wilson, CAE.
Kristen brings extensive leadership to the Alliance, most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA), the largest trade association in Arizona serving over 10,000 small business owners and entrepreneurs. Through her previous roles at ASBA, the ASU Foundation and the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, she brings over 12 years of association and nonprofit knowledge and expertise to her new role as Alliance CEO.
